We chose the hotel as an overnight stop on the way back from the South Coast, it's only a 20 minute diversion from the motorway and so much better than the dreadful Campanile's and their ilk.
The hotel is located in beautiful isolation in the forest. The overall feeling is that it's a bit dated and sparse. The rooms are large and quite comfortable with a good sized shower en suite. The TV seems quite silly as it,s very small and sits high on the wall in a corner.
The staff are absolutely charming, the food was very good and the breakfast the best we had in France.
