Our apartments were lovely and equipped with very nice typical forniture... the pool and games' room are GREAT !

I have stayed at Bellavista with family and friends at least once a year each year since 1991. The beauty of Tuscany is not just the land, it is also the people. You won't find any one more kind or friendly than the family that owns and operates Bellavista. Chiara runs the office and will go out of her way to provide assistance and suggestions. Bellavista sits on the top of a hill overlooking the Arno Valley and the scenery is beautiful. This is the perfect base for exploring Tuscany by car or train. The local town (Incisa) is served by the train, but I find it better to drive to the next town (Figline) to catch the fast train to Florence or other locations. Arezzo, Cortona, Sienna and Chianti Classico are all easy (and beautiful) drives. There are many excellent restaurant choices close by. The apartments are clean and comfortable and the pool is beautifully situated. The local roads are safe for walking. If you are there in the fall, walk up to the local wine coop to watch the wine making--Chiara can give you directions. Be sure to try the Bellavista olive oil. If you would like to experience the Tuscan countryside but still be within an easy drive or train ride to Florence and other cities, then this is a great choice. A car is a must--it is a steep walk back from Incisa and there is no real public transportation. Bellavista is a slice of heaven.

We stayed at Agriturismo Bellavista and had a great time. Seven of us took two of the smaller Poggetos and two of the larger two bedroom units. We have stayed at agriturismos in the past and were pleasantly surprised at how great the set up was here for a group. They were so well priced that we were able to take 4 flats, the ability for us to get together by the pool, and split up in our nice units with kitchens, made the trip infinitely more fun. The small town of Incisa at the foot of the hill was quaint and not overrun by tourists. It was only a short 30 minute drive or train into Florence, so we felt we were in the best of both worlds, close to Florence, and at the beginning of the Tuscan countryside. Chiara was the woman who showed us our room. She was gracious and knowledgeable, yet left us alone after we were settled in. She even provided us with a little olive oil when we forgot some at the store one night. I could not think of a better combo of close to town, and in the country. Thanks for the memorable week!

We arrived and were given a very rushed view of the room we were staying in and then just left alone to work out everything for ourselves. The room that i was assured would sleep four adults and two children was so small that it would be a struggle to live in for a week. Upon dark the mosquitos were so bad that everyone was getting bitten, the place had no fly screens and being in the middle of summer and without airconditioning it was impossible to not have the windows open. We eventually had to close the windows so we were then sleeping in a hot oven. I had to sleep on a broken sofa bed with one of my daughters but had to give up and pull the mattress on the floor as the bed kept springing closed. The other bedroom which had two single beds was so small that the beds were side by side and they were so old we thought they would fall apart.

After a night of no one getting any sleep and being covered in bites were decided we could not stay here another minute let alone a week so we told the owners that we were leaving and were then threatened that they would call the police.

This place was hideous and i wish i had read the reviews first, and i am sorry to say i having nice to say about this place.

we then found another place by just driving around and looking for somewhere to stay and found a place about 15minutes from here at Radda in chianti which was like heaven and half the price
