Last week, I had the opportunity to spend a week-long seminar at your hotel and I must say, that I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have probably stayed at 20-30 different hotels in Germany in the last 6-7 years and your hotel ranks at the very top when it comes to service.From a service point-of-view, I would DEFINATELY put you at 5 stars.
Your staff was always polite, helpful and available. Regardless whether it was the wish of a cappucino during a coffee break (although fresh-brewn coffee was available) or lamb for one of my hindu colleagues, or a manicure after hours, when the beauty center was already long-closed - your staff was always there with a smile and with a thank-you. You truly did your best to make us feel well.
Also, congratulations to your cooks: The buffett your provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner was outstanding - with a wide selection of always fresh salads, meats, pasta, fish and excellent desserts - I, like my colleagues, had to force ourselves to STOP eating.
Your spa area was also tremendous, with a nice sauna, pool and whirlpool to relax afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised to see it open from 6am (!) until 10pm (!) - and especially at the extreme hours it was usually fairly empty, allowing us to truly relax.
I also enjoyed going for a morning run through the woods around the ressort and if I played golf, I'm sure I would have had a great time on your golf courses.
The only thing which surprised me was the state of the rooms - they were clean and functional of course, but the furnishing is quite dated and could use a modernization - but considering how wonderful everything else went, I was more than happy to stay with you. Upgrade the rooms, and you will be more than deserving of the five stars for everything.
