What a delightful reception we got on arrival, 2 tired weary bikers, hot and in need of an oasis, we found it. The reception staff, who spoke excellent English, could not have been more helpful, help with luggage to room .
What a wonderful room, mini bar, hot powerful shower , big towels, air con, huge bed, balcony with table and chairs, pool view.
Hotel was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and very friendly staff. Restaurant was excellent, good discreet service in plush dining room. slow ? no , relaxed and enjoyable with good food. Safe parking for motorbikes. Reasonable cost for an outstanding experience.
Would stay here again.

Went there for a few days in the pool. Great pool, with enough chairs for everyone, and great sun. Hotel was pretty good, but the restaurant was a mess: too expensive and lousy service, messing up all the orders, forgetting orders and taking too long to serve. Food was good nonetheless.
Important note for golfers: thought I would go up to Marvão golf course, only to find later that it is closed, so no golf course nearby (only Badajoz in Spain).

The hotel has well appointed rooms wtih good sound proofing, tiled floors (can be a little cold in winter). The public areas are all beautifully designed, spacious. The whole hotel feels like new. The best part is the staff/service - discreet, accommodating, great language skills. Nothing was too much trouble incuding some last minute ironing which was returned perfect in 15 min.
