We were in a group of 45 heads on a trip to Europe with the tour operator Voyager`s Club in the month of May 2011. We have enjoyed our stay and complementary break fast in this hotel. Hotel staff were friendly and service was good .We will recommend this hotel to our friends

I highly recommend this hotel for family with children or simply for couple who want to spend a romantic weekend. It is really beautiful, the rooms are huge, the children very well welcome by the staff. The food at the restaurant is amazing, the breakfast with salmon, charcuteries, croissant, fresh orange juice, scrambled eggs, nice bread, etc..
The surrounding is fantastic with plenty of hikings, a fabulous swimming pool/spa with slides/toboggans. I recommand the attraction park "steinwasen" for children and a shopping trip in Freiburg.

We just returned from a trip through the Black Forest of Germany. This hotel was beautiful both inside and out. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff very helpful. A delicious full breakfast was complimentary. The area was beautiful. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

Comfortable rooms ,good choice of food in the restaurant with reasonable prices. The friendly and helpful staff made the stay enjoyable and we would definitely return.

The bonus of the (free) local travel pass and adjacent woodland walks allowed us to explore the area whilst taking a break from driving.

We thought this hotel was very good value.
