This is an excellent small family run hotel ideally placed for visiting the northern half of the Romantic Road. The staff are friendly and helpful and English is spoken. The bedroom we had was spacious with a balcony looking out over an orchard and fields. The hotel is very quiet, set in a hamlet on a minor road. The food was good, especially the beef and, in May the asparagus, with helpings that were sometimes too much for us. Our only criticism is that service can be slow: the hotel is very popular with local groups and one chef has to work very hard when there are a hundred people present. But we thought the value was tremendous.
Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back but all rooms are quie.
