Wonderful setting, lovely area of France (shame about the thunderstorms during our stay).
Very peaceful, very relaxed and very friendly or so we thought..........
I was under the impression that both Syb and Stu were lovely, I was extremely disappointed when I was informed in the most AGRESSIVE way that our children had placed gravel into the extremely battered and ripped pool table's pockets.
The truth to this story is a number of children at the site had put gravel in the pockets of the pool table, sadly our children were the ones accused, this was not brought to our attention and we were not aware that Stu had mentioned this to the children concerned. If we had been made aware of this our children would of been disciplined however, Stu was clearly unhappy regarding this and came at me raising his voice and pointing his finger in my face in an extremely aggressive way.
Shocked by the above I subsequently asked my children to apologise to Stu only to receive the response "YOU HAVE DONE ENOUGH DAMAGE I WOULD KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT". Just to clarify no damage was done.
This really let our holiday down after having such a wonderful first few days we could not wait to leave.
This is a family campsite, children will be children, we apologise for any inconvenience regarding this however, I would recommend Stu takes lessons in how to be diplomatic and consider a quiet whisper into a parent's ear, being so aggressive could seriously cause severe upset to a weaker person.
Just to clarify, Syb was lovely and extremely welcoming, however due to the above we would not return to this site.

I think that both you and I know there's a HUGE difference between what's written here, and what actually happened, and the discussion that followed. Syb was actually stood listening in the kitchen. When your child asked for the pool cues from the office, he was asked to bring an adult to play as we've seen so much damage done to the table and equipment by unsupervised kids. I explained to you in a non-aggressive manner that your kids were indeed putting gravel down the pockets and had been asked many times not to. Despite this polite request, they chose to continue, kicking up a dust storm around the table instead. I remember, as does my wife that you yourself asked your friend's child to stop speaking when he was rude to me, and I agreed with what you said. Had I lost my patience? Yes, definately. Was I aggressive? Most definitely not. We're both deeply saddened and shocked to read this, especially after the help with your car after locking yourself out.
