Everything was as described in the reviews we had read. Rooms large, clean and comfortable, views wonderful and breakfast excellent. The fridge with fresh milk (and beer) was a real bonus. The owners even lent us books with walks in. The only negative is that you need to drive to get to a pub for evening meals.

We stayed for two nights at the end of June as part of a trip around the west coast and some of the islands. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the black cuillan room which was great: nice big room, big comfy bed, sofa, tv, fridge, en suite etc and the views from the windows were fantastic. The owners even put some of the local beer in our fridge for us to try. This was just one of the little touches which make it such a lovely place to stay. Also worthy of a special mention was the food - the breakfasts were fantastic, and we also had dinner there one night - myself and husband are both vegetarian and the owners had gone to real effort to put together some vegetarian options which we couldn't resist! This was a lovely place to stay and we wouldn't stay anywhere else on Skye!

We had a great stay at Bla Bheinn where we spent 4 nights at the end of June 2011 and it was more than perfect. We stayed in the Red Cuillin room which was very comfortable and spacious. Although there's enough space for suitcases, we were very happy about the walk-in closet. We got two bottles of local beer and a small bottle of milk as welcome present.

Patricia and Steve were very helpful and friendly. There's a blackboard in the breakfast room on which they offered various starters, mains and deserts. We chose the rainbow trout which was really fantastic. The breakfast (wide selection) is also great.

The bedroom was very well equipped and offered a king-size bed, a third bed, a sofa with table, a mini fridge, TV with Sky, free WiFi, en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi. There's also a infra-red sauna which is absolutely fantastic after a rainy walking day in the hills. Everything was clean and all rooms were lovely furnished.

We had an excellent stay at Bla Bheinn and we could not have found a better B&B on Skye.

We went up to Skye to pick up a dog from a nearby breeder. We stayed here for two nights and couldn't have asked gir anymore. Lovely hosts, lovely room ( sauna as well) lovely breakfast and beautiful views. Our 7 year old son was even invited to play with the hosts children which he loved. Steve and Tricia run the perfect b&b And we would not hesitate to recommend or stay there again
