“Superb, outstanding and more”

What a great place to stay, Chris is an outstanding character and very personable, we thoroughly enjoyed our two days here and rated it as one of the best places we ever stayed. Location is awesome, scenery, as you would expect in Skye is outstanding and some great walks to do, if you feel up to it. Cannot think of a single negative and this view is shared by my Wife, Daughter and Son in Law as we were there together.
Dinner in the pub across the road was average but our host provided an outstanding breakfast and we really liked his friendly chat.
We fully intend staying there again on a future visit to Skye.

“pleasant stay”

Right next to the Talisker Disillery, in a small town.
Our stay in the Rennie McIntosh Room was excellent. A big, nicely decorated and clean room with all you needed.
We didn't see too much of the host as they had some friends over, but I can say that breakfast was good too.

Room Tip: the Rennie room is really nice!

“Highly recommended!”

The room we stayed in (the Rennie McIntosh) was excellent! Big, spacious, and very clean. The en suite bathroom was also large and sunny. Breakfast was delicious and included homemade muffins and crepe-style pancakes. The best breakfast we had our whole trip! The best part were the hosts--extremely personable, friendly, and eager to share their wealth of local knowledge (and they were big Radiohead fans!). This B&B is highly recommended!

“Great B&B in superb location”

I stayed here for two nights during a period of dramatic changes in the weather. My room was well furnished and spotlessly clean, with a great view over the loch - and the full Scottish breakfast was awesome!

“Great stay -- would recommend”

Chris and Elaine are super friendly. The bedroom was large, clean, and tastefully decorated with plenty of personal touches. The bathroom was large and equipped with an good warm powerful shower. The Highland Soap Co. products were very nice.

Vegetarian breakfasts are available. They are excellent in quality and voluminous in quantity. Veggie or not, you will enjoy the home baking and preserves.

Carbost makes a good base for exploring the Cuillin and Talisker bay. The Old Inn across the road is a great pub and the Talisker distillery is 2 mins walk away.
