We stood at Essinger Hof for two nights last Easter weekend and I must say this experience was fantastic.
The room was large, very clean and with a stunning view on the woods just behind the hotel, in addition the staff has been really friendly and their hospitality was absolutely amazing (they even gave us a garage to store our motorcycle safely at night)
The dinner was excellent, while the breakfast takes place inside a large and very nice traditionally Bavarian room with a wide choice of excellent food and beverages.
I recommend Essinger Hof as a must-stay hotel to all the travellers in this area of Bavaria, we've been really happy and satisfied at 100% with our choice.

“What a Beautiful Room and Quaint Area!”

This was one of those "steals" you always hope to get. The room was beautiful (so new you could smell the pine wood furniture) with a fantastic view of the mist creeping down the wooded hills. Beautiful area here and I was all over Bavaria. Highly recommended. Staff were great. Also recommend Landgasthof zur Post in Heiligenberg.
