My husband and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for only one night as we were making our way back to Roma after visiting family in the south of Italy. This hotel is absolutely lovely. There is not one derogatory thing I can say about it. The interior of the hotel is tastefully and expensively decorated. There were only a handful of people staying there in August which is highly unusual for Italy so it was very quiet. I believe most of their business comes from catering weddings and special occasions. We had dinner at the hotel and Pino (Giuseppe) was our pleasant waiter. The food was very good and Pino suggested a vino that we very much enjoyed. The buffet breakfast was typical for Italy and we enjoyed it al fesco. Dinner was also enjoyed outside. MariaLousia, at the reception desk, was very helpful giving us directions to the beach.
It is a little difficult to find this hidden gem as it is somewhat out of town on SS170 which is an olive tree lined road. The best advice I can give you is that once you get into Andria, you follow the brown signs to the Castel del Monte which are posted all over and you will eventually see signs for the hotel.
We paid E90 to stay here in the middle of August which is considred a low price for this time of year. There is plenty of parking and breakfast is included in the price as it usually is in Italy. The hotel was very clean and the AC was fine.
Once again, I can't say enough about this fantastic hotel. One of the other guests, an Italian woman, put it perfectly - BELLISSIMA.
