“Wyboston Lakes Hotel and Conference Centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

This is fairly new Hotel and Conference Centre with a Leisure Centre and Golf Course and other attractions.
The food in the Restaurant was better than average and there was a good choice available. The wines were of good quality. Drinks in the bar were not excessive in price.
The rooms were well decorated, clean, tidy and well equipped with appropriate furniture. The beds were of a good size and very comfortable.
I am a short person but even I could not lay down in the bath. The baths were shallow which could be of assistance to those not so agile. If you pressed the toilet flush with the seat up there was a risk of trapping your fingers.

“Overnight Business Stop Over in Bedfordshire”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

PErfectly lovely hotel that i have stayed in many times whilst away form home on business. Staff are always pleasant the location is quiet, rooms are clean and well set out. I've eaten in the restaurant once and enjoyed it. Very nice breakfast in the morning. No complaints if you are stopping over on a business trip - everything you need really.

Room Tip: All the rooms are pretty quiet as it is a qtr mile from the A1

“Christmas Party”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

We have just had our companys Christmas party at Wyboston Lakes, unfortunately it was not a memorable visit. We arrived in the afternoon, the staff at reception were efficient .The room was ok but we had no hot water, the block that we were put in was cold,I called reception and a duty manager was seen to be running around trying to sort the problem,I was under the impression it was being resolved.Anyway next morning got up jumped in the shower and realised that there was still no hot water, called reception and a little later the maintainance man knocked on the door,he was last seen opening cupboards to check valves,.
The evening felt dis organised,(school dinners)we were rammed in so close together that you could not be served easily.Only positives most of the food was ok.waiting and reception were professional .Breakfast was quite good butwe will not be going there again,

Room Tip: If you stay check your hot water availability before you unpack.

“Beautiful setting for a good night's stopover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

We were visiting relatives in the area and found a good DBB offer via the internet. The reception staff were very efficient, and the food excellent, although the dinner main courses were somewhat small. Breakfast was a feast of choices, all very well prepared. The room was a comfortable size and had all we needed.
The decor of the entire hotel was very attractive, with views over the lake from the restaurants. Although we were a couple, we could see that this would be an ideal place for a conference or training session; this did not detract from its attraction as a hotel for non-conference-goers as well.

“Great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

We used this as a stop over. Booked it on arrival and found it great value. It's a basic conference centre but good bar and a fantastic breakfast
