Slipped off the motorway and came upon it. Lovely village, traditional pub, first rate and good value lunch, larger than life character/mine host behind the bar. Perhaps hovering between the perfect village pub and a caricature of the same but either way it was a grat lunch/perfect pit stop. If we lived within reach we would come here often.

Stayed here for a night after searching high and low for a decently priced hotel in the area. A lovely pub with cosy atmosphere and great food. The room was much nicer than it looked on the website and was a decent size.

The room was furnished with everything you'd need and the landlord was very amenable and friendly.

Before dinner it was great to sit outside the pub having a quiet drink - the pub itself didn't get busy or really noisy meaning that when we went to bed it was quiet.

Breakfast was a real feast and completed this great good value experience.

The village is very beautiful and while there's not much to do it's a great place from which to explore the area. Very close to motorway although you'd never know it. You can get ripped off in this area so choose somewhere like The Neeld Arms and you'll be sure to have a good experience for a good price.

Just an overnight B&B stay whilst visiting relatives living nearby. A very warm and helpful welcome at check in, and a comfortable bedroom for our purposes. Very clean and well decorated.
Full English breakfast was well presented and cooked with good quality produce. We had a couple of issues with slightly grubby crockery and milk that had gone off, but these were dealt with promptly and happily.
Grittleton is a beautiful south Cotswolds village off the beaten track even though it is just off the M4 motorway - definitely worth a visit
