“Hotel OK.....food ??”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

Recently stayed here on business along with colleagues from Europe. The hotel was well placed next to Heathrow, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the rooms in view of its position and status as a "stop over" venue - very clean, well equipped, spacious, warm and a good price.
We ate in the brasserie ( an open area off reception ) which wasn't the best of times. "Black pudding, poached egg and potato stack" was OK if potato was i effect a crisp. "Chicken skewers" with rice ?......3 pieces of very spicy chicken and not much else. Lunch next day wasn't much better, but breakfast I have to say was great......so we stocked up !!.
Parking was a concern when we arrived...£40 per 24 hours.....turned out to be £9 per day for residents so that was better.

Room Tip: Don't be scared of the front - windows deaden the sound of planes landing and it's actually...

“Airport Hotel with Parking Package”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

I booked this hotel to stay before a business trip arriving late on a Sunday night and leaving very early to catch a flight the next day. Booking was via Holiday Extras and was great value at £114 including meet and greet parking at Heathrow for two days. Check in took a while with my flight details having to be taken for the parking service (although provided at the point of booking anyway). The hotel was quiet with only a few guests. I enjoyed a meal in the bar which was not excessively priced for the location and had a good nights sleep, room was clean, comfortable and fine for a night. However, I think I had a family room but it was only me - would have been a tight squeeze if there were more than that. Check out in the morning was efficient and got good directions to the airport terminal where drop off with Purple Parking was a breeze. Overall was pretty happy with this booking and would use again if travelling alone with limited time in the hotel.

Thank you for your comments. I understand you had already provided some flight and car details to Holiday Extras, and this is a procedure we are currently changing to make sure the check in process is as quick and smooth as possible.

I'm glad you would return to us again, and were happy with the bar meal and cleanliness of your room. I look forward to welcoming you back. Suzie Riddell, Customer Service Manager

“Above average staff, well below average food.”

Stayed pre (cancelled - thanks B.A.) flight to Berlin.

Professional and courteous staff throughout, clearly well trained in customer care and the room was spotless.

The food was poor, very poor. I ordered a goats cheese and carmelised onion tart as a main (£14ish) I got a piece of filo (half a single sheet) stuffed with a large tablespoon of onion chutney, some side leaves and 5 new potatoes. It was horrible. My partner had chicken tikka with rice that he swore blind was a Sainsburys ready made meal - dished up a at a cosy of £14. Plain lazy, and there was no excuse even though the alternative was some iffy kebab shop and an all night supermarket.

We didn't stay as the flight was cancelled so I cannot comment on the sleep/bed/comfort but for the price it looks a great deal.

Just bring your own food. Or go hungry.

Naturally, I was disappointed to see you weren't satisfied with the quality of our food, and I have passed all your comments onto my Head Chef, who would like to extend his apologies to you.

“Good Hotel but pity no room internet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Good hotel clean hotel with great service.
Although the restaurant was good, the food was great and added to the fact the waiters were polite and attentive it made for a great dinning experience.
The only let down, especially if your stopping there because of business, was the lack of internet in the rooms. In this day and age a must. If I had a one night stop over then I would use this Ramada again, any longer then would have to opt for another hotel chain where they have internet in the rooms.

Lastly didn’t like the £9 parking charge for using their onsite car park.

Room Tip: Think twice if you need internet in your room

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you had such a great dining experience, I shall be sure to inform the team how happy you were with their attentive service.
We do have internet in the bedrooms, however this is not free wifi. This is available in the bar and lobby area for all guests to use at their own convenience. The internet available in the rooms is chargable unless you have booked an Executive Package.
We are keen to keep our parking charge competitively priced within the area, and having recently reviewed this, I am confident we are in line with other hotels.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback, we always appreciate hearing from our guests after they stay, and I hope we will see you again if you are back in the Heathrow area. Suzie Riddell, Customer Service Manager

“Good hotel for a good sleep”

Located very near to the Heathrow Airport. The hoppa bus directly goes to the hotel from the airport (I took it from Terminal 4). The reception is good and friendly. The restaurant is bit small in my opinion but enough for flight catchers. The bristo service is good. The parking lot behind the hotel is spacious and a good place for smokers as they put some tables with the umbrellas to protect from the rain. The room is good and having standard amenities. Only one hick up is the no free internet in the rooms. Free internet is only available in the lobby. You will get vending machine to get your bus tickets just behind the reception.
