“A special place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

I stayed in the Pink room for 3 nights while on a course near by.The location is amazing, very beautiful with the millpond which had swans on it from time to time. I also loved the white ducks, and Charlie the dog. Margaret and family are very welcoming, just as everyone else has said. I am gluten and dairy free and I even had gluten free biscuits in the room on my arrival to have with tea.Breakfast was excellent, very tasty, everything you could wish for was there(even down to the selection of teas).
The room was very comfortable (in an annexe,so very private),and with a lovely outlook onto the millpond. A great place to relax after a long day. I will definitely hope to return,in the summer next time.
Its hard to do justice to Mill Farm in this review,so recommend you come and stay and see it for yourself.

Room Tip: Pink room is lovely with twin beds and looks out on the millpond (it has a fridge and microwave whic...

“Truly lovely”

We went there as a family in order to visit Longleat. What a fabulous place to stay. Warmly welcomed by Jack, who then showed us all around the farm and brought us tea on the lawn. After a very pleasant night we were presented with one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had anywhere, the highlight of which was the stewed rhubarb from the farm. We were only able to stay for one night, but we will certainly return. Great value for money.

We read the various great reviews before booking and can now see why everbody loves this place. Stayed with our two children (8 and 10 years old) in the Blue Room. Lovely welcome when we arrived. The room was delightfull, really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderfull and too much for us to finish! The children loved the donkeys. Steve and Margaret couldn't be better hosts. We will definately stay again sometime and recommend it to everybody we know, if they are heading to Longleat.

Our extended family stayed in the Piggeries ( 4 adults and 2 young children)whilst my husband and I and teenage son stayed in the Blue room. We were all delighted with the accomodation and facilities and had a wonderful weeks break...great location for trips to Longleat/Cheddar Gorge etc....As previous reviews have stated, the hosts could not have been more helpful or pleasant and the breakfasts!!!!!....my husband on returning home has gained several pounds thanks to the hearty full English breakfasts!!!!would happily return and recommend to everyone.
