We had a very short stay here in January. Thankfully the weather was bright and sunny and we had a great time walking along the Loch Ness.
We stayed in the 'Front Double' room which has an amazing view of the Loch Ness. The room itself is of a very high standard and everything was perfect. The hosts are nice and the breakfast was great.
However, it just didn't feel like a B&B and felt more like a really nice hotel. This isn't a negative at all, just a subjective opinion.
Tip: People who're planning to use public transport while staying here should note that there literally is just one single restaurant within walking distance. And buses making the 8 mile journey to Inverness are very infrequent (once every 2 hours till late afternoon). Pottery House does mention this fact in its FAQ section on the website. We were unlucky in that the local restaurant was closed that day and we survived on biscuits and tea for dinner since we didn't really feel up to spending the time & money doing an 8 mile cab trip to and back from Inverness. Plus, no takeaways deliver in the area.
