“Average apartments, delicious food”

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days.
APARTMENTS were quite small for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The main bedroom is large however the second one is tiny and the window is set to the corridor. The bathroom is small too but clean. There is a big balcony.
FOOD: tasteful! - breakfast is the same every day, but you have a good choice, you can prepare espresso, juice is nice, bakery products are fresh. Dinner is great, every evenz was a different cuisine with high quality food.
SWIMMING POOL: nice, cleaned everyday.
ENTERTAINMENT: once a week life music (saturday)
STAFF: friendly, helpfull and able to communicate in english
INTERNET: Free and reliable WiFi at reception. Poor signal in the rooms.
PARKING: at the carparks, at the street - plenty of space
BEACHES: Very nice with powdered sand :-)

Apartments are clean and spacious enough for two adults and two children but the bedroom with the twin beds is very very small. You do have to do all your own cleaning, including changing the sheets! Apartments are quite noisy in public walkways and this reverberates around the accommodation. I'd recommend a car for getting around as it's quite a trek from local supermarket. Strange thing is there is a derelict fenced off shopping area directly opposite apartments!!

Just come back from palmeras beach , fantastic, To all the people who complain that the sheets and towels are not changed every day, stop moaning, you don't change them at home every day do you ?. When we arrived we were met by the most friendly of staff who were very very helpful ,Our room was 2 bedroom very clean ,very spacious with a huge balcony, where the sun shone all day. The maid came every day ,the sheets were changed twice in the 5 days we were there, the towels were changed three times,What more do you want, The food was fantastic i had 5 types of fish, there was a different selection of meats ,soup, fish, salads, potatoes and veg every night, the puddings were to die for, about 10 different ones, the breakfast catered for everyone, after the meal a short walk 10 mins up the road and your amongst a strip of rests and bars, you can get a taxi for 8 euro about 10 min away to another strip where's there are allot more bars, You do need a car if you land at Alacanti, But if you can land at Murcia you don,t The Irish bar is run by Vania she a great barmaid and makes you feel more than welcome It was easy to find as long as you get off at Mil Palmeras the pool area was very quiet plenty of sun beds ,the pool was Fresh, but not too cold, ALL IN ALL I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMEND

Room Tip: Pick odd numbers they get the sun all day we had 341

“Good family hotel”

A two night stay on route to Alicante. Good check in staff gave us a 2 bedroom apartment (second bedroom so tiny the door will not open - needs bunk beds). Quite a large, modern complex in 2 sections surrounding a good family pool with a small kiosk serving drinks, ice cream and snacks - not expensive. On site free parking. Irish! bar on site serving an outdoor terrace until late (past midnight). They have what sounds like a reasonable buffet dinner for I think 11 euros if you are resident, though we did not try it. The breakfast was a lavish buffet affair with something for all creeds, even Cava!! Breakfast room was a bit crowded. Large terrace for our room (25) facing the sea. AC and TV ok. Some evening entertainment by the pool with a certain Spanish slant. Short walk to the good beach, downhill, maybe 300m. Bit of a longer walk in the evening to a busy restaurant area - downhill at first and then up again. Well worth the trip but take a taxi back. The rank is right next to the restaurants but the drivers may be in one of the cafes. There are probably in excess of 20 restaurants on this small street plus a trinket market which is open very late. We ate at Celtas which was excellent quality and value.

Room Tip: North side of pool will give late sun on the terrace. Full sea view at the end will be shaded in the...

“Good value apartments in quiet location.”

We were really pleased with the apartment for the money we paid. We had 3 adults and a baby in one for 5 people, on special offer. The apartment was basically furnished, but clean, well equipped and with a large balcony with a sea view. The nearby beaches were nice and not overcrowded and the pool area was very nice. There were always available sunbeds in the area we wanted (we needed shade for the baby and sun for the adults) and entertainment (during the day) is provided for both children and adults. We were there in the last week of the school holidays in England. Entertainment is in Spanish as Spanish people are by far the majority of the guests but the entertainers do speak some English and I think children could join in the games anyway. It is 15 minutes' walk Mil Palmeras's only supermarket, and its bars and restaurants, so a car is very handy (for getting you from the airport, especially, if you've flown to Alicante as we did). We did trips to Murcia and Cartagena. Some people seem to have had difficulties finding the place, but we compared the map given on the website to Googlemaps and confirmed that we were going to Mil Palmeras rather than Pilar de la Horada or Orihuela. Then when you get into Mil palmeras from the N-332 or the AP7 there's a sign immediately pointing you to go left to get to the apartments - this may be a new sign.
