Great hotel. Located about 4 km from the centre of Granada, with a busstop in front of the hotel, the bus takes you in 10 minutes to the towncentre. Very nice looking rooms, the owner is very friendly and speaks perfectly english (which isn't normal in that area of Spain as we found out).
We spent 2 nights and we were planning to go to Granada and The Alhambra the second day by our own rental car. When we wanted to depart, I discoverd a flat tire on the car, my wife did ask the hotel-owner where the nearest garage was. When he saw out problem he told us to give him the car-key so he would arrange the repair of the tire and we could take the bus to go to Granada. When we came back that evening everything was arranged. Talking about great service.....
It also has a nice terrace on the roof-top with good views over the area. Free parking was easy in the street.

We spent two nights in Villa Sur for 60 Euros / night breakfast included.
The name is really descriptive of the building, it is an impressive Andalusian villa and the different rooms we saw were all lovingly styled and decorated. Our room had a terrace on the garden/pool side and was quite spacious. It was fully equipped, including a whirlpool.
The hotel owner, he might have had a bad time, but defenitely he was not really charming with us.
The hotel is close to a busy roundabout and a passing street, and if you wish to sleep with the windows open, then it will be a noisy experience. Furthermore, if you have a neighbour who enjoys late night couple activities and tv parties, then it will be very noisy too.

not in the center but so nice, quiet and good value, the friendly owner spaeks perfect english. This is our best value hotel ever in Europe (even compared to a lot of places in Asia).
