Beware if you plan to go to this hotel late in the season. I Booked this hotel in September 2009 but found out a week before we were due to arrive (17th October) that the hotel had closed early!

A genuinely warm welcome awaits you at Sol Los Fenicios. Rooms are fairly spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Location is just across the road from the beach and within easy reach of shops and restaurants. A small pool on the roof provides a lovely setting to relax and watch the sunset over the sea. Food is good and the evening menu del dia well worth its current €17.5 price. The service provided is excellent and value for money first rate.

A very bad experience!!!!

I can write a long text to explain my bad experience in this hotel, but I prefer to summarize with a short sentence: This hotel does not deserve the stars it has. Neither about the location/building nor about the service.

After 3 hours in this hotel we went away!!!

The guy at the reception was one of the most unpolite person I have ever known in an hotel.

Everything happened the last 10th of August.

I suggest to avoid this hotel.

We were looking for a small, local beach resort to spend a week and La Herradura seems to fit the bill. Much quieter than the larger Costa towns it still has a classy, upcoming feel to it.

Sol Los Fenicios sits just across the road from the beach. It has a small pool on the roof and it's rooms are small but comfortable. Service is what you would expect and we had no problems with our stay.

There is a very nice beach club across the street that rents loungers and umbrellas for 5 Euros a day. This is where we spent most of our time relaxing and reading. The hotel is a short walk away and each Sunday the club cooks up a giant paella feast right on the beach.
People come from all over for this local tradition.

Remember, this is a quiet town so don't come looking for anything other than rest and relaxation.
