“A Magical Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 September 2011

We stayed at the Prince's house Hotel en route to Inverness. We cannot praise enough this true gem nestled in among the rolling hills. The hotel staff were so warm and welcoming. The hotel is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean - comfortable, cosy and so inviting.
The dining experience was incredible. All local produce and cooked to perfection by an award winning chef. This culinary experience would be hard to match in a top London hotel. The Harry Potter bridge and the Bonnie Prince Charlie monument merged together history and magic and made our whole experience in Glenfinnan truly magical.
We couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you Kieron, Ina, Chris and Alasdair.

“Relaxing and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2011

We stayed in this fantastic small hotel for three nights. Everything was lovely - from the welcoming cup of tea and fruitcake while we were waiting in the lounge for our room to be set, to the comfortable beds and delicious dinners. We had three course dinners in the restaurant twice, and eat at the bar once. All very tasty, fresh and proffessional in a relaxed and friendly way. The location is alongside the road, but has no heavy traffic, so you wont be disturbed by it. It is perfect to explore the mountains around the famous bridge, or for a very long walk along the lake. Will we return? Oh yes, we would love to!

“No worth the high prices”

Thank god we only spend one night here! The room was OK in size with a tiny, tiny window though (looking onto the roof - not a tree in sight!). There was carpet on the bathroom floor - which is the most unhygenic way to live and no wonder it was impossible for the hotel to keep clean!!!
Food in the restaurant was cold upon arrival, the waiter /barely 14 years old) did not know anything about the wines - let alone the food. The wild trio was impossible to cut through...
The lady in the reception/bars was verynice - but it still our money and they are much better spend in another hotel/restaurant. It ended up to be the most expensive place we stayed - mind you: We stayed at the Scotsman in Edinburgh!!!

“Perfect Prince”

Wow. I cannot recommend this small hotel highly enough. Originally booked for one night only, but I extended my stay because I loved it so much. Although located outside the main town of Fort William, it is well worth the short yet scenic drive to nearby attractions such as the Glenfinnan Viaduct and Loch Shiel. I found it a great base for a daytrip to Glencoe – after a strenuous walk to the Lost Valley, coming back to The Prince's was sheer heaven. Room was beautifully furnished and comfortable with a great view of the surrounding landscape from the bath tub! Host Ina was incredibly warm and friendly (I even got a goodbye hug!). But the absolute highlight of my stay here was the incredibly wholesome and delicious food cooked by Kieron. Dinners here were the best I had in Scotland, and the staff service is impeccable. Having a drink and a chat at the bar with the locals topped off what was a very memorable stay. The Prince's House is the epitome of Scottish hospitality. Can't wait to go back!

“It just gets better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 June 2011

Just got back from a busy work weekend and once again stay at this great friendly hospitable hotel. The owners are fantastic and really make you feel at home and cosy! Ask Ina about anything and she will have you in stitches with her great friendly witty banter. Kerion's food is marvelous, the breakfast here is among the best I've ever had, including the Marmite on toast!!!
Hope to stay here again next year and already looking forward to it.
