Stranded in Venice post cruise, due to the Icelandic volcanic ash fallout, with two sets of aged and marginally mobile parents, one wife, a seven year old son, two wheelchairs, one stick and myself. Help! The travel operators arranged for us to stay in this hotel. What a find! The owner and family were tremendous and made us all and the other members of our evacuees feel extemely welcome. The rooms were very pleasant with all the expected facilities. My parents and In-laws, although slightly less mobile than most, were very comfortable and were able to relax with all the anxieties of the challenges presented by our later repatriation put to one side. The owner and his father recommended the in-house restaurant, which turn out to be excellent. The food was very well presented and tasted superb. I have to mention the excellent waiter and waitress for their very warm, friendly and professional service. A lovely evening was had by all.
Over the next few days of our enforced but very pleasant visit (ash clouds et al!), we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely stay there again upon our next visit to the area.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and restaurant without reservation.

We were put up here by our travel company for a couple of nights during the Volcano crisis in April 2010. What a lovely place!

Spotlessly clean, wonderful staff, comfortable bed, good shower, lovely buffet breakfast. It is slightly dated - the bathroom especially was kind of wacky - but past the looks, everything was great. We didn't try the restaurant, but others who did said it was fantastic. The restaurant is closed on Sunday. There's a pizza restaurant 5 minutes walk away called 'da Ciccio' which served the best pizza I've had in my life! The hotel has WiFi (EUR €8 for 5 hours) and the manager even let me use his printer to print our boarding cards :)

Both the bus and train stations are about 15/20 minute walk and you can get into Venice in less than an hour for about EUR €7 return. On Sunday's they run about once every two hours, but other days it's once every hour or better. There are also buses to the beach (in Jeselo).

We weren't paying, but we asked reception and they said it was EUR €75 per night for a room. This is definately somewhere I'd consider staying on the next visit to Venice.

I've been here for over a month and have nothing but good things to stay. I would recommend their hotel to anyone. I'm very happy to be staying here. It is a quaint family run establishment.
