we arrived on a thursday night 26th may 2011, wife expecting wanted a nice quite hoilday break in a clean resonable place, we where take to a block of apartments over 500mts away, on a dual carrageway to Palma with Roadworks, see pics, the apartment was very basic, bed felt damp, rooms dark, smell of drains and all sufaces greasy NOT Cleaned. Asked for change of room we were told to pay 140E extra, which we did (mugged). Moved to apartments near hotel, room bigger but Dirty ask to get cleaned took 3days to get sorted had to clean my self, shower hot water lasted 3mins, aircon, had to get fixed not working right, no electric lights in one bedroom ,and it goes on and on, Yes rooms bigger but that do'snt out weighs the cheapness of the place, see the pics. Oh forgot the roadworks alround the place they will last till end of summer, no matter staff say.

We (2 Adults, 1 Teen 1Pre-Teen) went for a 2 bedroom apartment which we found very comfortable. The apartment had a reasonably modern kitchen, with halogen hob/ electric oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator & automatic washing machine. Towels were changed 3 times in one week and the staff were always pleasant and helpful when we spoke to them.

Port de Pollenca is a great place for a reasonably quiet beach holiday with kids. Go Native on the Mallorcan food it 10 times as nice and worth every penny!

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment for one week, and apart from a couple of niggles we were all very pleased with the accommodation. The rooms were a good size and well furnished, the kitchen was very well equipped and the pool area was clean and well maintained. The location was good, close to a couple of bars and restaurants and various supermarkets and a short walk to the beach and bus stops. We had two bathrooms, however one was virtually unused as the water pressure was non-existent meaning showers were impossible. This was a bit annoying but we managed fine with one bathroom between us. Our main gripe concerned the roadworks being carried out beneath our balcony, which meant we were unable to use the balcony area without severe disruption (except for the two hours when the workers went for their siesta!) Obviously this wasn't the fault of the apartment owners and was down to the local authority, but it did become annoying when the pneumatic drills started up at 8am.

Overall, for what we paid, we were all very impressed with the Don Miguel apartments and I would recommend to anyone who prefers to self cater when on holiday. One tip, make the trip to the Eroski supermarket rather than using the local Spar - much cheaper and better choice.

Booked three bed superior apartment on ground floor. A little shabby around the edges but scrupulously clean and had everything you could need for a family including four yr old, toddler and newborn. Great location, clean pool. We arranged to have breakfast at pollensa park across the road each morning, great value and choice for kids. Even though they were digging up all the roads around us due bad scheduling by the local authority,we had a great time and everything we needed.
