We stayed here in September 2011 as part of a last minute package deal. On arrival we were advised that we had been upgraded to a two bedroom apartment, however this was extremely basic. The decor was very dated, there was no air-con, the rooms were very small (and I mean really small) and the balcony could only take one person at a time.
The following day, we upgraded at a cost of 10 Euros a day to a far better apartment. This had air-con, was much more spacious, had a balcony with dining table & chairs and a reasonably equipped kitchen. The decor was still dated but it was clean and comfortable. There were two swimming pools (including a splash pool for kids) directly behind the block in which our apartment was situated as well as the pool at the Hotel Panorama.
In general terms, the location is good and the staff were friendly & helpful (they seemed very used to people upgrading apartment ! ). Its a short (2 minute) walk to the beach and about a 15 minute walk to the marina area/ town centre and main area of restaurants etc. There are a few bars and restaurants within a 1 minute walk, as well as several supermarkets. The room was cleaned and towels changed once during the week. There are no safes in the room but you can hire one at reception for one euro per day. There is some noise in the evenings, particularly from one of the nearby bars, but it was generally quiet by 11pm.
If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation then its worth considering, but make sure you know what type of apartment you are getting.
