We stayed at Pollensamar apartments and were really pleased in general with them. The street they are located on is one row back from beach and Pine Walk and is quiet.
Apartment was clean (cleaned & towels etc changed 3 times a week) with all necessary equipment .
Security good as both external and internal doors had strong locks.

Overall good value for money.

If you want a comfortable, quiet base and don't mind a level walk of about a mile to the harbour and bus station then this is for you. It's a very small block, with no bar, restaurant or entertainment - therefore nice and quiet. The apartments are very clean, very well furnished and decorated, with a well equipped kitchen and several British TV stations. The whole establishment gives a smart appearance. Excellent security also, with a lock and CCTV camera on theouter door and deadlock on each apartment door. Not much of a view from our apartment but the accommodation is only a few yards from the Pine Walk. There are 2 small supermarkets within 200-500 yards. Check-in is at the Hostel Bahia, which is a good 800m down the Pine Walk (bumpy for suitcases) but the service was efficient and friendly. We requested an extra blanket and it arrived within hours. Maid service is every other day and very thorough.
We loved it.

We spent a week here in a one bedroom apartment and loved it. The apartment was clean and fresh and all the important things were present: good beds, strong hot shower, sea view balcony and a cute, well-equipped little kitchen (apartment was cleaned and towels changed every other day). The pool was clean and nice too with sufficient space for residents to share and enjoy. Location is lovely and quiet but close to the beach and a nice little cafe/minimarket.
Now, we may have been lucky - there are 20 apartments all with a sea-facing balcony but some are studios so space would be tighter in them. "The children" arrived towards the end of our holiday so we only had one rude awakening due to inconsiderate parents letting their kids run riot in the stairwell.
One point worth repeating is the fact that you will have to collect your keys from the Hostal Bahia, a good 20 min walk away and if you wish to use the safe in your room it costs €15 per week! Otherwise... go for it if the price is right.

these apartments are set in a quiet street about 800m from the town centre. When we first arrived by coach transfer, we were told by another couple staying there that in order to check in we had to go to another hotel to pick up the keys. I had to leave my partner and 1 year old son standing outside in the midday sun after an 8 hour journey for 45 minutes in order to go & check-in.
When i arrived at the other hotel, i was told that the air conditioning in our apartment was broken and wouldn't be repaired until the following day. They gave us another apartment for the night.
The apartments are a good size and very clean.
Due to the fault with the air conditioning we had to move apartments another 2 times in the first week (not easy with a 1 yr old!).
They compensated us by offering free paella for dinner at the other hotel one night.
Three days before we we due to leave, there was a torrential rain storm and as our apartment was on the top floor as luck would have it, the room flooded. This meant we had to up sticks yet again and move to yet another apartment.
We id enjoy our stay in Puerto Pollensa and definitely would return, but not to the Pollensamar apartments.
