“Tuscany vocation 2011”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

We visited Tuscany oath days in this hotel. Nice boutique hotel in a wonderful location. Very nice staff and services. Breakfast tastes and nice and good service. The hotel's magnificent location up to 50 km each way Florence, Siena and 15 km to St. Gimignano wonderful doing the perfect vacation. Also, near the hotel, have a walk on foot has two very nice restaurants. What else we're looking for on vacation!

“Outstanding service in a quiet villa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011 via mobile

I cannot say enough about the quality of the service at Villa Bianca. Anything we asked for was provided. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The villa sits on a rather busy road and you can hear traffic during the day so it's not a picture perfect Tuscan setting. But it manages to be tranquil. It is very convenient to San Gimignano and Volterra and an excellent base for exploring the area. It's more like a luxury B&B than a hotel from a service perspective. There's no restaurant onsite for dinner but breakfast is delicious and a light lunch menu is available. And there's an excellent restaurant minutes away. We were married during our stay and loved our breakfast in the torre each morning. Villa Bianca is a tremendous value and I'd recommend it without reservation to those looking to stay within this price range.

“A nice base in Tuscany”

Great place to use as a base in the San Gimignano area if you don't want to stay right in the tourist towns. It's a small inn with a friendly owner who likes to chat and give recommendations. It's on the edge of a very small town, in a residential area, with 2 really good restaurants right nearby within stumbling distance. Lots of vineyards and farms in the surrounding region, and a winery on the other side of town that makes a great vin santo. Half an hour drive into San Gimignano or Volterra. The rooms are nice and comfortable with great bathrooms. The main road passes next to the property, which we didn't find bothersome but can detract from the idea of 'idyllic countryside'. Very nice Italian breakfast buffet. Check with the owner if travelling in shoulder season to find out whether the pool will be open. The hotel restaurant was not open during our visit, either.

“Under The Tuscan Sun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2011

I had to work at a wedding located at the Castello Di Olivetto that is not far from here. We chose the hotel because of the pool for my son and husband to enjoy while I was working!
It was a fabulous location to take a trip into Pisa, Volterra and just to enjoy the Tuscan countryside.

The room was cute and themed. We enjoyed the sun room that had ample of room for the 3 of us!!! www.gibsonchop.com

“Nice hotel, perched on the top of the hill”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 July 2011

Just back from a month long trip to Italy. It took some work (middle of the night driving) but we arrived to this very nice hotel for four nights late in June. The hotel is nicely situated, between Florence and Volterra. We did some pleasant day trips, passed a morning in the quaint town, doing laundry. The hotel room was pleasant, they had set it up so that there was an extra bed for my son. It was spacious, air conditioned, with a good shower/bathroom. The breakfasts were very nice, especially that cake. Lots of fresh fruit, cheezes, and meats...all out on the terrace with your preference of types of coffee. Extremely central. No real complaints at all. The pool was smallish but unused when we made our way to it. My son (7) enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you!
