“Perfect hotel in perfect location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 July 2011

We stayed at this charming hotel for 4 nights, after long research on the internet,it looked like a dicant hotel at a good price.
First, the location was perfect for us to go on our trips to Venice, Firenze, and Garda Lake.
Parking was very easy and secure (they have video cameras watching over your car 24/7).
The minute we went inside we felt like it’s our home away from home. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, the lobby has many sitting ereas, a cute bar, Wi-Fi is available everywhere and the staff are so friendly you just want to stay and chat with them.
The room had huge and comfortable bed; we slept great every night thanks to that bed and the clean sheets. The room itself had everything a couple need including a full mini-bar and little shampoo samples in the bathroom.
We want to thank especially to Luca-the night guy who answered all our questions and gave us a feeling we are always welcome, and to Jakomo (We hope we spell it ok!) who was very nice to give us a little discount and smiled every minute of the day.
And to save the best for last – the breakfast was very nice. Some days we sat there hour and more just to enjoy a second coffee. That breakfast gave us the power for the rest of the day and we recommend everyone who books a room there – don’t miss the breakfast!
We will be back 

“Nice stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 July 2011

I stayed at the Hotel Ristorante El Rustego for 2 nights in July. The service at the Hotel was excellent. I had rented 2 rooms for my family. When one rooms AC started to leak they wasted no time in moving us and ensuring we received a ggod room. The Hotel could use some minor renovations, like making sure that the light bulbs all are good, or that the shower doors stay shut. If they would take a little time in fixing up the minor problems this Hotel would be hard to beat. It is located in a nice area, the outside is beutiful looking and they will use their hands and feet to comunnicate with you. The location is perfect if you decide to travel. I will stay at this Hotel again when I am in the area.

Room Tip: IF you have kids a little older thing about 2 rooms instead of a family room. You have more space t...

“Friendly Service, great value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2011

This hotel is a little gem. The location is not ideal if you want to explore Padua, but if you have a car, the short drive from the center of Padua is worth it. If you are sensitive to noise, then try to get a room on the back side. The traffic is a bit loud in the front.
We also ate at the restaurant. The food was excellent, the service good (and humorous - our waitperson had a nice, dry humor) and prices just right. The staff at the front desk were also very, very nice/pleasant and helpful. Has a bit of a 70's feel to it, but the property has been kept up/maintained excellently, such that the atmosphere has a real charm to it.

“good for big families”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2008

The hotel is out of the city of Padova so you have to drive your car if you want to visit the city. It will take 25 minutes to reach the city center. Rooms are very big and if you ask you can have rollaway beds and 4 people can sleep easily. MAny rooms are on the street side that is very buisy but not very very noisy . Ask for a room on the other side. Restaurant is good. Price are not very high. So if you want a cheap clean hotel , you need big rooms, you HAVE a car, you are not interested in nightlife this can be a good choice.

“Clean hotel with friendly staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 April 2008

I cannot agree with the poor reviews of this hotel. I recently visited the hotel with a large orchestral group and found the hotel very acceptable. The food was above average and the rooms were a bit dated but clean with very modern bathrooms. Staff were very helpful in general. No sign of ants and definitely not a 4 star hotel, however, I look forward to a return visit to this 3 star establishment.
