We discovered Rancho del Ingles in Sawday's guide to Spain. We had a villa booked, but it was a long drive from Malaga and we were arriving late at night the day before our villa was available. Rancho del Ingles is only a short drive from the airport and urban complex of Malaga, but you would never guess so - it is very peaceful and beautiful, with no traffic sound, views out over countryside, and a small river running along the boundary. Our room was a tastefully converted outbuilding with a vaulted ceiling, Miyuki was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Would recommend to anyone wanting peaceful civilised base from which to explore the area around Malaga.

The Rancho del Ingles was the venue for a Yoga Retreat that I took part in and have to say the location was absolutely fantastic. A wonderful hidden gem that the owners (Miyuki and David) have brought back to life with love, care and thoughtfulness. I didn't have to ask for ANYTHING as everything was there, right down to the plug that I may need incase the pesky mossies came out. Although no "restaurant" Miyuki, would provide food on request and all meals were home made, fresh and such a lovely variety of dishes. The views looking over the mountains were gorgeous and enough grounds to walk around to enjoy the birds and plants surrounding the estate. Lots of character and stories behind all that you see, and when the sun is too hot (if ever) then there are areas of shade or a nice dip in the pool. There is nothing "commercial" about this place, and everyone is made to feel very, very welcome and special. I will definitely return to this very special place.

After exhausting hours of research, we finally decided to make Rancho Del Ingles our destination in Malaga. The moment we arrived we knew we made the right decision, and that feeling never changed during our 5-day visit.The owners were very accommodating and super friendly. Our room- Le Jardin was nice with a character. It was perfect for us and our little toddler. We had our own patio, so that when she was asleep we could be outside and have our own time, and not worry about her. The only drawback to our stay was the fact that they were doing construction on their garden the whole 5 days we were there, so we did not get the privacy we though we would get, and it felt a bit like we were living on a construction zone, however, when they are finished with it I am sure it will look amazing!
We would recommend this place, as it is close to the airport, its great value for the money and the owners are the best one's we have ever encountered- such friendly and helpful people.

I stayed at the rancho for a family wedding, and I can't imagine a more perfect setting for this important occasion. I was fortunate enough to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms and it was just so beautiful and so nicely finished. I especially loved the amazing bathroom with it's giant antique wood counter and pebbled shower floor. I felt like I was at a spa!
The catering for the wedding was incredible. The food was professionally prepared, very delicious, and beautifully presented. The family that runs the rancho were all so friendly and helpful and gave us some great travel advice for the region.
I would absolutely stay at the rancho again.... in fact I wish I could be there right now!
