I am an American living abroad in the south of Spain. I booked this mini-vacation at Cuevas La Granja for my girlfriend and me to relax during the winter break. I booked the travel through the site lastminute.com and I purchased the two nights relaxing romance package. I called the Cuevas right after I had booked the travel to confirm and also to tell them that I wanted it to be a special occasion. I spoke with Silvia from Cuevas La Granja who was absolutely amazing (she speaks English and Spanish) and she assured me to leave it in her hands. When we arrived they had everything set up and ready to go. The only thing that we needed to do was to tell them when we wanted to tour the Winery (Pago de Almareas) and when we wanted our massages. Silvia then led us to our cave (Almareas Suite) which was prepared with candles, a warm fire and a bubble bath (amazing). This was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had, truly amazing and beautiful. They recommended some great restaurants and even a nice running trail for me to run on the following morning. The only bad thing I can say about this is that the bed was hard but then again most of the beds in Spain are that way. Great place, great customer service, intimate, secluded and a truly exceptional experience.
