Good location. Close to alpine and close to Lillehammer.
No place to eat in Oyer, instead of pizza and hamburgers. But rich brekfasts in hotel, and a good but expensive restorant in hotel.
Family parks near these place are closed in winter, so be carefully.

Rooms wasn't renovated. Very pure furniture in rooms. No fridge in room. Standart room is very small.

I was here on business late december 2009. Check in was quick and the service was excellent. Nice and charming staff at the check in counter.

The hotel lobby is nice and stylish. The room however was very small and quite boring. The decor was modern and up to date... 15 years ago.
My bedrom table lamp did not work. Irritating. Not much more to add. 1250 NOK - about 210 USD - is too expensive.

In the restaurant I had a lousy meal and paid more than I would have paid for a great meal at a really good restaurant in Oslo! I had an intence feeling of being ripped of. 110 US dollars for food that had been made many hours ago. The dessert had the taste of being stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days, and the main course was horribel. Worse value for money I have ever experienced.

There must be a better hotel than this around Lillehammer?

My husband and I stayed at the Quality Hotel for 4 nights to go skiing in Hafjell, the ski centre was a 700m flat easy walk along the main road. We had a standard room which was small but clean and warm. The under floor heating in the bathroom was particularly nice. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice to suit everyone and the food was of a good standard. The evening meal was either a set course dinner or a buffet depending on the night of the week, the food was excellent. The atmosphere in the dining room was relaxed and friendly and the staff were efficient.
The swimming pool was warm, inviting and nice after a day's skiing. There was a computer in the lobby for internet access and tea/coffee facilities. Highly recommended.

Located right on the E6 motorway, the location is excellent. Marketed as a"children's hotel" during the summer, this hotel had lots to offer my toddlers, in addition to the playroom and swimming pool, which are permanent fixtures at the hotel. It had a play area outdoors with a bouncy castle and other activities, and had a mini petting zoo.

My main requirement was a double room with a rollaway and space for a travelcot. Our room still had floor space after all the beds had been set up! The bathroom was basic, but fine. My only problem with the room was a fairly big one. The room was very hot and unfortunately was on the side of the hotel facing the motorway. I initially decided to live with the noise and open the window, but the safety lock on the window didn't work. So, with a toddler sleeping right under the window, there was no way I was going to leave it wide open, which made for a hot night for all.

Otherwise, the dinner buffet exceeded my expectations (which were extremely low), and the breakfast buffet was fine.

One warning: as this hotel is close to the Hunderfossen amusement park, summer rates are higher than they are at other hotels in the Choice chain.
