The hotel was ok. I wouldn't call it a 4 star hotel for sure, more like a 3 or 3+ if I were to be generous. The location, on the other hand, was horrible. It's in the middle of nowhere. It took us 30 mintues just to find it as neither google nor yahoo could locate the exact location and provide directions. There were no signs until you literally got right there and even then we got lost and we're usually great with directions. The rooms were ok, the bathrooms were clean. Nothing special. We stayed here just for one night and that was more than enough. The breakfast was horrible, practically nothing to choose from, stale croissants and pastries, one or two egg dishes, bacon and one type of yogurt. Not even juices. If you only need an overnight accomodation and get a good rate, then it's ok to stay there, but if you're visitng Toledo and are staying there for a few nights, then pay a bit more and stay somewhere closer to the city. The hotel is a good 15 minute drive from the center.

Hotel Layos Golf, a wanna be 4 start hotel, avoid it like the plague! The menu includes an assortment of FROZEN meals with a variety of sauces to mask it. Rooms are new and there is an outdoor swimming pool, but everything else is terrible. Waiters are unprofessional and borderline rude. The breakfast self service bar is not open unless a minimum number of guests are present. The location of the hotel could not be worse, in the middle of nowhere, about 10 Km from the city center. They advertise free WIFI but you can barely open any webpage, slower than a modem. You have the option to use the guest desktop in the lobby for 1 Euro every 10 minutes. Entertainment is lacking, there is absolutely nothing to do at the hotel or its surroundings. I pulled my family out one day early, three nights was torture enough!

The service in the hotel was dreadful ! There were not enough staff in the bar or the buffet restaurant.
There were 2 large parties, so how did they think they were going to cope with 1 person in the bar and 2 in the buffet restaurant.
Having to wait 1hour for a sandwich was just ridiculous.

Most of the rooms are to small, only 3 hangers and no shelves in the wardrobe, no chair for the desk, no chair for the terrace, the food is awful, the hotel lives from Asian tour groups (who are also lost with this hotel in nowhere) and groups on a promotion tour.
The hotel and especially the restaurant never meets your expectations for a 4star hotel. With the exception of the golf course you are far away from everything.
