This was a very nice hotel to stay at for our short trip to Chihuahua. It was very comfortable, the rooms were very neat and clean. It had an up to date feel and tasteful decorating throughout the hotel. The staff was very accomodating and if you aren't a Spanish speaker, many do speak English.
A few things to consider:
-We had to be shuttled to a different hotel for our first night's stay because they were overbooked. We were very very disappointed about it. They took care of us and had us stay at a hotel about the equivalent to it though. Not sure if this was Travelocity's fault or the hotel's.
-The hotel has 2 elevators, one of which was out of commision for half of the trip. Prepare to wait a little while to use the elevators, they aren't the fastest by any means. All the rooms are at least 1 flight of stairs up.
-The hotel is centrally located to downtown shopping and plazas. The very beauitful cathedral is on the same block. There are several banks to exchange money near by. Some American fast food chains are about a block away (KFC, Subway, Dominos, Burger King) and some other tasty local restaurants to try as well.
