The hotel rooms are great, they are really spacious with everything you need including free wifi and a reasonably priced mini bar. They are comfortable and nicely decorated. The public areas are also nicely decorated and there are lots of comfy sofas to relax on in the reception.
The main downside of the hotel is the location. It is in the middle of nowhere and if, like me, you don't have a car it is hard to reach. From the nearest metro station it's at least a 25 minute walk uphill to the hotel or a €6 taxi ride each way. If you don't have a car you really are stuck, especially at night as the metro stops quite early and dinner in the hotel is late.
The food in the hotel was poor for a four star hotel. There are only two choices of each course at dinner with pork being one choice four nights out of four and octopus being the other choice on two nights.
The lobby bar area looks nice but was only staffed on one occasion during my stay! The nightclub didn't open at all and so after dinner if you want a drink you have to use your minibar. There is no atmosphere at all in the hotel. The reception staff were not particularly welcoming and even though there were a lot of people in the hotel at breakfast time, very few guests used the public areas in the evenings.
