Just before flying back home this is just the best place to stay because it is only 5 minutes from the airport! Also verry nice and clean rooms and a verry nice service from Lisa. A verry friendly and nice person who knows how to deal with the clients. We had a couple of good laughs with her! :) Tnx Lisa! I wish you all the best for now and the future. I have been going to Costa Rica on a regular basis since 2002. I tried many of the other places to stay around the airport from Hampton Inn to the smaller places. Then Dos Palmas opened up. I have stayed there ever since! The hospitality, the rooms, the help they give you, the wonderful feeling I get each time I arrive, it's always one of my favorite parts of my trip. Just a coupe minutes from the airport to top it off. I arrive with genuine Costa Rica hospitality and spend my last night before departing with the same. The ways the owners Peter and Flor have helped me with so many things over the years is exemplary of what true Costa Rica hospitality is all about. I highly recommend it as part of your experience. Also try the Dos Palmas Country Inn just a short ride away, and in the beautiful country setting!

Due to a plethora of cancellations and miscommunications, I had been stranded in downtown San Jose late at night. Thankfully, a local cab driver called the manager Peter, who welcomed me with open arms despite the late night disturbance. He was more than helpful in ensuring my comfort while I made arrangements to continue on my volunteer work.

The rooms were clean, and the provided food was great.

My only complaint had I been staying there for an extended time was that the proximity to the airport increased the noise level a bit.

We had no expertations when we did go to Costa Rica.
We wanted to start our trip near by the airport, stay somewhere, rent a car for our trip thrue Costa Rica. We booked our trip at home to Dos Palmas Airport because it whas near by. Peter (the owner) picked us up at the airport en brought us to his appartement. I whas surprised, because it whas not so big, but verry clean. The breakfast the other day whas more than welcome with the friendly smile and talk from Peter's wife Flor.
They where able to help us with renting a car (for a verry good price) and helped us also with planning my trip thrue Costa Rica. When I came back from my roundtrip I ended my trip for two days at DosPalmas Airport where we had a good time with them. Costa Rica is a beautifull country, and I am sure I am comming back again, and I sure will visit Peter,Flor at Dos Palmas Airport again.
