We arrived late on Friday night. We entered the code and got in without any trouble. We were pleased to find out that the place was opposite Mojos.

The breakfasts were ready as we got up and consisted of good hearty food. The room was everything we could have hoped for, robes, great bathroom and a lovely four poster bed with lovely clean sheets. It overlooked olive groves and was close to everything. A perfect stay!!

I liked the fact that they left breakfast out for you and essentially left us to our own devices. My partner and I couldn't have asked for more. Stay here if you can!

Our stay at the Wilderness Lodge has been a pleasant experience from start to finish. The location is quiet, yet central. The house and the room were exactly as advertised - spacious, clean, fully functioning. The service was excellent and the breakfast provided had all you could ask for to start your day on the right foot. We will be back!!! :-)

My wife and I stayed at wilderness grove in celebration of our 3rd wedding anniversary. It was our first visit to the hunter and upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Quentin (the owner of the property). We arrived early and Quentin was more than happy to provide us with recommendations and tips of the best wine spots and restaurants that the hunter has to offer. We found our room to be clean, romantic and comfortable (love the aircon beside the bed).
The property is large and beautiful and ideally located opposite the tasty Mojo's (highly recommended). Breakfast was generous and a great start to the day.
We have recommended it to all of our friends and family. Cannot wait until our next stay!

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at Wilderness Grove, greeted by both Di and Quentin, our room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the olive grove to sit and relax on. The breakfast was really good, especially Di's frittata. We will have no hesitation in returning next time we visit the Hunter Valley.
