I really enjoyed my two nights at this old hacienda style hotel. Every detail of the place was well thought out and it was spotless. I particularly loved the artistic painting on the walls and historical information all around. Unfortunately I was the only tourist in town during my stay so things were kind of shut down all over. The rooms are a bit chilly so ask for and extra blanket. I ate at the two restaurants just down the street about 50 meters and they were both good. Martin, the manager was great about letting me lock my motorcycle in his storage area across the street. There's almost nothing to do at night except read or drink beer in either of the towns two beer gardens if they are open. You can't buy liquor legally in Batopilas so bring your own.
