Stayed here 2 nights. If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere. My wife and I tent camp 1-2 months per year, so having kerosene lamps for lighting and a fireplace for heat, were not a big deal. In fact. they were quite enjoyable. Food (included) was simple but excellent, as was the nightly pitcher of margaritas. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of places to walk and things to see nearby. We were the only ones here, which is a shame because it was high tourist season. Safety? I felt much safer throughout our trip to the Copper Canyon area than I do walking down the street in the middle of the day in LA
