When booking, Cathy and Gordon were really helpful in letting me know about local transport to and from the B&B. When I arrived, I got a warm welcome and Cathy was happy to provide me with fresh milk for the tea tray provided in my room (I'm not a massive fan of UHT).
Room was clean and tidy, fairly basic but the bed was possibly the most comfortable one I have ever slept in - perfect night's sleep.
They were also happy to cook a customised breakfast for me, even including some veggie sausages, and it was lovely.
You could probably pay the price of a night's stay just for the service! Very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
Was also one bus-stop away to the University Tremough Campus, so very easy to get between the two.

“Well worth a visit !!”
We have stayed at Sunnyside each time we have travelled to Cornwall and Gordon & Cathy are superb hosts, We were made very welcome The legendary breakfasts are a delight.. We will be back for more of the same. David, Helen & Rebecca

“best B&B ever!”
Had four great nights with Cathy and Gordon. Great room, great food and extremely welcoming company. Cannot fault anything at all - and for us that is something!
Dont forget to have the full breakfast and never pass up the offer of CAKE! Penny and Brian
Room Tip: The upstairs suite has the facility of an adjoining room if you have kids and dont want them to sle...

“An excellent B&B”
I've stayed at Sunnyside on numerous occasions over the past 12 months for work, and each time Cathy and Gordon have always made me comfortable and at home. The rooms are clean and facilites excellent, just a shame that I usually had to leave before breakfast! I will be back!

Thanks Will, it's been a pleasure to have you. We're sorry you've missed out on the cooked breakfasts a lot of times - good job we put the homemade cake in the rooms!.
(We do our cooked breakfasts from 7:30 but when people have to leave early we provide access to cereals, milk, toast and fruit juice plus a hot drink from their room.)

“Our mini break.”
Had a fantastic time again- this is why we always return every year ! Gordon and Cathy are brilliant hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are always immaculately clean and have all the facillities you could possibly want. Breakfast was as usual the high point of our stay-delicious local produce, tasty and well cooked. A real home from home. Jackie, Mike and Jess.
Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely and well appointed.
