“Hotel stinks of dry rot”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Such a pity.
Usual friendly and helpful staff. Usual clean, tidy and comfortable room. Sadly, the building smells of dry rot.
I wondered if this was just my room but, when I parked round the back (so I could see my car from the room window) the smell was evident from the other end of the car park!

I had to leave at 6am as I couldn't sleep any more.

“Meet Brian, the face of Premier Inn!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the area for Christmas shopping.

Excellent location, after being helped immensely by Brian on Reception we learned we could catch a bus (£2.20) right outside the hotel direct into St David's rather than paying horrendous carpark charges.

The Coach & Horses pub is located just next to the PI & both evening meal & breakfast was excellent.

Our room was ground floor & slightly smaller than most PI rooms but it was fine for the two of us. The hotel is looking a bit tired & in need of a re-hash but Brian informed us that this is on the adjenda & should be done soon.

Stayed in many PI, all very good but with the added bonus of Brian this is so far the best!

Thank you Cardiff East!

“FRIENDLY STAFF”

The staff at this Premier Inn were exceptional, both on reception and also in the restaurant. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Room would have benefited from being a little larger.

“Peaceful location, clean, quiet and comfortable hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in early October. We were visiting family in Cardiff and the hotel was ideally located around 15 minutes out of the city.
Staff were all great and the breakfast was fantastic!
We will definitely stay again!
