I have been to this resort a number of times, and it was my first time to bring my family and parents last week. It is a bit far from the airport, but it is definitely worth spending additional 30 minutes drive to Onna Village where there are many resort hotels. Their beach is the best in Okinawa and the atmosphere in the resort is great. Quality of service is also good. They opened BBQ place where guests can see entertainments near the beach and it was lots of fun. I strongly recommend this resort to anybody. My family enjoyed so much.

This was our first time in Okinawa and we decided to go to a secluded resort away from the city centre. Okuma resort was a fairly sound choice, it does well in certain areas and average in others. For example the quality and range of food was above average, service was excellent (English speakers are available). However rooms are bit outdated and dull but very clean and spacious. Prices are rather high for things on site, so we recommend you bring your own snacks and drinks as you are quite away from any shops (its 2hrs from Naha airport).
