Stayed here in Feb 2011 at short notice booking not knowing what to expect ... there is no better location in Niseko, true ski in-ski out experince right on the edge of the snow feild. Japanese staffed hotel who are very friendly and helpful . I would go back to this place everytime, great ski locker room, wireless internet short walk down to village.

Reasonably priced and best located next to the ski lifts, literally ski-in/out, nice bars and restaurants are around, and in addition, free shuttle bus to the downtown is available from the hotel car park till late for drinking out. Cheaper than the nearby sister hotel, Niseko Alpen by 1,500-2,000 yen per night but hot spa at Alpen is free for the guest of Niseko Kogen Hotel. Staff are very kind and supportive.

This was my first time in Niseko. Unfortunately I could not understand the only review on this hotel as it was written in Japanese... but I am soo HAPPY we stayed here! It was easily the best location compared to the other hotels around the area.... the staff were awesome and friendly but spoke little or no English at all.

We had breakfast included with our package rate. Breakfast was decent.. they had traditional Japanese breakfast food as well as Western style foods. Also at the lobby level there is a small lounge to surf the wireless connection and a gift shop where you can buy almost anything! Even BEERU!

"Onsen" or hot tubs are separated by gender so I couldn't jump in with my girl... however, however... they are affiliated with another hotel (forgot the name, sorry) that is just down the street and you can use the pool and hot tub there with your spouse/partner. You can also get some fancy sushi at their partner hotel!

**FOR THE SKIERS AND RIDERS: Fantastic, very well-organized storage lockers and change rooms provided in the basement... lockers fit your skis or boards, boots, poles etc etc... and Sapporo beer vending machine right by the lockers for your "apres"

ROOMS: Their a little small... but you shouldn't be spending all your time in them anyways!
