On our way from Marseilles to the west of France, we decided to visit Moissac, a medieval town with a few monuments of historical interest (including an amazingly well conserved cloister).
Le Chapon Fin claims to have two stars. It definitively is NOT up this standard. It is a very old hotel (you would not believe the electrical system), of a more than dubious cleanliness. There is no lift, which make life difficult when you have young children and heavy luggages to carry up the third level.
If you pay 6.5 Euros, you are entitled to park your car in their ... garage, that is a very old building crammed with junk.
The hotel is located in front of the market place. Positive side: you are at walking distance of everything. Negative side: it is very noisy (night market the day we staid there!)
The breakfast is a joke.
The only positive aspects were the size of the room and the fact that toilets and (mouldy) bathroom were separated.
