We really enjoyed our visit to this hotel and extended our stay by a day to take advantage of its amenities. There are lovely country walks in the local Vosges hills, an indoor pool to cool off in when you get back and an excellent, if slightly pricey restaurant. The nearby town of Soultzmatt is attractive and has an interesting church built in a patchwork of different styles, and there are numerous wineries producing good local Alsace wines. The staff were very friendly and helpful and kept the reception open for us on the first night when we were unavoidably delayed. The hotel is not in the town of Soultzmatt, and was not well signposted. To find it go through the town and past it about 2 km. Look carefully for the hotel sign half-hidden in the trees on the left-hand side of the road.
