This hotel is one of the best finds my husband and I have had. This small hotel, in the middle of a picturesque village in the country side of Burgundy. The grounds overlook beautiful lush green hills, speckled with sheep and cows. The small village has a beautiful park with a pond and small river, which runs through the village. Truly a place to "get away from it all" (this village has approximately 75 residents!). The hostess is extremely friendly, assisting us with reservations and places to go and do (as there aren't many places to eat within the small town itself, but the drive through the Burgundy countryside to sight-see/eat are breathtaking). The breakfast is delicious as well. In fact, it was the stay at this hotel that our co-travelling couple now rates every other hotel against (always saying, this isn't as cute as La Saura, this place is missing the charm of La Saura, this place is too hotel-like, we liked La Saura). As the official hotel booker for our trips, it has made my job more difficult as gems like this are hard to come by!
