Remember, this is not a "normal" hotel, rather it is a set of apartments at the top of a building, with student partments below, and the shoping centre below that. You will NOT get a daily maid service, and there's no free stock of tea or coffee. What you will get (if your apartment is anything like mine) is a clean, and very adequate room, with a bit more space that you will get at a normal hotel. The single and double apartments consist of a large bedroom with a "kitchen counter" in the corner, where you will find a 2 ring cooker, a microwave, cutlery, crockery, along with a toaster, a kettle and a filter coffee machine. If you're staying longer, the hotel has a laundry and a sauna.
My apartment was clean, although in a couple of places its age was showing. The bathroom could well have easily had a recent refurbishment, as it was excellent, and the shower was one of the best I've seen for a while.
The bed it typical of what you'll see in the Nordics: a base with a thin (2 inch) mattress on top, and strangely enough, it is VERY comfortable. The built-in wardrobes can only be described as HUGE.
Despite the sub-zero temperatures and strong wind outside, the double-glazed room was consistently comfortable, with the radiator thermostat easy to adjust. There is also air-conditioning in the room, which will probably be nice in the summer (but completely not needed in the winter!)
Since my last visit, the internet link has definitely improved: only occasionally did I notice any slowdown of the connection. This is wired internet, but many, myself included, have brought along a wireless router.
I met several front desk staff during my stay, all of whom were pleasant and polite, and my one problem (door entry card mis-behaving) was sorted out very quickly and courteously.
This hotel has no restaurant : the quite adequate breakfast is provided by a restaurant in the shopping centre). The food gallery is quite reasonable, and inexpensive, although not what you would call "restaurant quality". Near the T-Banan station is an "English Pub" that does nice food, and there are a few restaurants around if you search for them.
If you are wanting to visit Stockholm, then this is NOT the place to stay, but if you are on business in Kista, the local choice is limited, and the StayAt is noticibly better value than the rather over-priced local alternatives.
The bottom line is whether I would return, and the simple answer is yes, I already did, twice! And I know this will be where I'll chose next time too.
