On a business trip to Kista, Sweden I stayed at the Mr. Chip Hotel and enjoyed a very comfortable stay there. The hotel was located at a walking distance to my business workplace and also very near to the Kista Galleria shopping center.

The hotel room was spacious, very neat and provided a very comfortable work desk along with internet connectivity making my business stay a pleasure and convenient. You can get wired as well as wireless internet access - as per your convenience. There were plenty of lamps in the room allowing one to create ambience suiting one's mood. The mini refrigerator in the room was well stocked with soft drinks and Swedish chocolates - I liked those.

Availability of a working ice machine a few steps away on the floor made it convenient to pick up some cubes to add to the drinks.

Breakfast was included in my tarrif and I enjoyed the coffee shop though I must say that I found the menu very limited. I helped myself to some milk, museli, boiled eggs and some toasts. Fruits and fruit juice was also available.

The hotel also has a small but nice and well stocked bar - should you want to help yourself to some wine or liquour.

Cabs were available easily and almost round the clock around the hotel and it is also close to the subway metro station and bus station. This made it very very convenient to move around. The hotel is also very near to some beautiful buildings like the Kista Science Center. For guests/visitors, the metro stations provide the convenience of a day pass as well as a weekly pass - allowing unlimited rides across the metro, the bus and also entries to some boat rides, museums.

On the day of my checkout, I had quite some free time before I had to reach the airport. The hotel staff provided a convenient facility to park my luggage in a luggage room which I picked up later in the day.

Overall a very comfortable and convenient place to stay if you are visiting Kista.

The rooms are clean and everyday the room service clean the rooms.
I liked the breakfast, the hotel staff was very polite and helpfull. Definitely I would recomand to anyone who goes to Kista.
Tip: There is a fridge in the room where you get a new chocholate and soft drinks. Use it. Unfortunately, I haven't check it until the last days.

Average is the right characteristic for this hotel. Not too bad, not to good.
Friendly receptionists, no problems with booking or paying. Free internet, but only fixed, no wifi. If you do not have the LAN cable with you, they will borrow you one for free. Clean room, spacy wardrobe, computer table, flat TV, soft big bed, mini bar with only soft drinks in it, hair dryer, but no iron or ironing board. Enough wall sockets, including one in bathroom. The lightning is a bit too dark, but it should concern only ladies - not too comfortable for applying make up. Mirror in bathroom and in the room.
The breakfast is ok if you stay for one day only. If you stay longer, may have to eat the same food every day, because the choice is very small.
Location is good - if you are here for business in Kista. Offices, big shopping mall with places to eat, public transport are all within some minutes walking.

Considering the cost of the hotel for one night was 2000 SEK. I would have expected much better considering the standard of hotels in Stockholm for considerably less.

The decor is average and the quality of the rooms is somewhat tired and the suspended ceilings in the rooms are something from a office. What I found most disappointing was the noise in the room. Not only could I hear through the walls, but also from the room below. It also sounded as if there was water running between the walls. Overall, I had a very poor nights sleep.

The food was okay and breakfast plentiful and included in the price.

Staff were helpful and polite.

The main reason I stayed here was the proximity to the Kista Science Tower. It would impossible to be closer without being in the Tower itself. However, when I weight everything up I would rather stay in Stockholm itself and travel to and from Kista via the train.
