If you want a relaxing holiday with a lovely beach and lovely appartments then this is ideal for you. However if you wnated somewhere decent to stay for the festival in Benicassim please save yourself the complete nightmare of staying here through Danesp. (www.danespfib.com)
The main guy Daniel is totally disorganised and then he has the cheek to be rude to he's customers when everything that has gone wrong is he's fault. We had no appartment for the first night, we finally got our appartment at 8pm the following day of our arrival. We were then asked to leave a day early to which we said no. so they decided to wake us at 6am on our day of departure and ask us to leave, then again at 8am and finally we went at 10am. They obviously have no system in place there for bookings, people paying or anything. We got no apology no thank you for being so patient. And there is no section for feedback on the Danesp website...i wonder why!!
The shuttle bus is a complete fass aswell. When we managed to fit on one (as they obviously oversold tickets) we sat there for hours before actually going anywhere so end up spending all of your money on Taxis, which i might add, are very few and far between. I would not stay at these appartments ever again for the festival if my life depended on it.

We travelled to Marina d'Or with the DanespFIB travel group for the Benicassim festival. I have never come across a more badly run, disorganised, incompetent, rude and ignorant organisation. We arrived to the office to pick up our keys at about 6pm. We eventually received our keys at 3am. There were HUGE delays in checking people in, massive mix ups in double bookings, disputes as to whether or not security deposits had been paid etc. None of which were massive issues on their own but became ones when they were so badly handled by the travel company. The owner of the company repeatedly screamed torrents of abuse at anyone who dared to complain about the lengthy wait, about non working a/c, about other people bags in their apartments etc.

Upon returning home I emailed the company to let them know about my experience. This was the reply I received:

"Hi sad persons,

I hope that your business (if you have the brain to run one) is as succesfull as mine, and thanks to people like you, giving us FREE publicity, next year´s it will be at least double as this year.

GOD bless you sad life.

The apartment, once we got it, was actually quite nice - spacious and well equipped. However, nothing could have compensated for the abuse and mistreatment that had come before it. Do not book with this company for Benicassim 2010, you will regret it.

Myself and friends had decided to stay in an apartment for the Benicassim festival this year and found a company on the internet which looked fairly reasonable with all the basics that we needed. The check in was stated 4.30pm, and my friends were waiting at the front of a queue until 6pm until I finally got in to check in. Our luggage had been lost as well by Iberia airlines and I needed to speak to someone to help me arrange for it to be delivered to the necessary place, but I cannot speak fluent Spanish. I was feeling quite wound up by the entire situation and trying to get any of these people to help me and the luggage situation seemed near on impossible.

We eventually got into the reception area where it seemed lots of bodies were standing doing absolutely nothing. When I asked if any of them could speak Spanish to help me with my luggage query they said no (most were English), then would turn around and speak to others in Spanish!!!!

The queue outside was getting longer and longer and people were becoming irate and quite angry. With most bookings at a hotel or apartment, they would normally have the unit booked and reserved to the individual already so on arrival you need just to pick up the key and sign in. With this lot, they had not even allocated any of the apartments until there were hundreds of people waiting outside well over the check in time.

We eventually got our keys and were able to go to our apartment. We did find someone else’s pants down the back of the sofa, nice, and they certainly hadn't been cleaned. The rest of the apartment was fine though and everything was as it should be, apart from the patio doors not locking. We were on the top floor with families on either side so we left this ONLY because to complain seemed worse to us than being burgled , as stupid as that sounds, it would have taken another 5 hours!!!!!!!

The following day we went down to see if our luggage had arrived and again, Danny, the owner of this ridiculous excuse for a company was arguing with a couple who had been there since the Monday, it was now Thursday, as they had been sleeping in car as there was no apartment for them and he was not giving a refund. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!

I asked if he could help and reluctantly he called Iberia Airlines to help with our luggage nightmare. We were then told by Iberia Airlines that is was still in Heathrow LONDON!!!! So that's another page of complaints to their peeps. As you can imagine I was not a happy bunny by this time as we were bring told it still would not be with us until Friday. 3 days in.

We also booked the shuttle bus to and from the festival which was a complete and utter nightmare with people being cattle herded around and then almost fighting when the coach came as there was no order at all.

Every member of staff at Danes FIB had half a brain cell to share and honestly did not know there rear end from their elbow and the manager was on of the rudest. Ignorant individuals I ave ever met and feel sick that we ever gave him our money.

If they are still in business which I hope not PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM ... IT IS A COMPLETE JOKE!!!!

We spent here 2 weeks at a very good rate. The apartment had 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets, living room and fully equipped kitchen. Very nice view over the mountains and sea.
Free acces to outside pool, free secured parking, sandy beach. In july as full season I must say the town was pretty empty except the week-ends when it was fully loaded with tourists and locals.
I reccomend it.
