I travel to Europe on business frequently. Yotel at AMS gives me the option of arriving early, getting some decent sleep, cleaning up and being into the city by noon. It is quite handy.

The standard rooms at Yotel are comically small but always clean, quiet and comfortable. I have found the staff to be helpful and the check in process is efficient.

These little rooms are good places to take a nap or sleep for a few hours. While the beds are not the most comfortable I have slept in they are more comfortable than many hotels I have stayed at. We had the premium room that gave a bit more space. The bed moves out from a couch kinda thing to take up most of the floor space. Where the bed creased to fold seemed to be a hump. I thought it would bug me but it did not. I think I'll try the bunk-bed type next time just to see if there is a difference. The bathroom is clean and spacious considering the size of the room. We had only our carry-on luggage so the space issue was not and issue. It was a savior of our trip to be able to stretch out and rest before the rest of our journey. Think small and you be fine. Make reservations you can skip the long line.
