I stayed here with my partner for 2 nights after seeing a cheap holiday deal on easyJet. I hadn't realised it was a business hotel until we got in a taxi from Schipol airport and the driver asked us if we were here to work! The taxi by the way cost us 39€ from the airport and same again on the way back and it took around 10-15 mins, I'm not sure of any other ways to get there. We got to the hotel and we were quite early for check-in, we arrived at around 10.30am, but the lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming and found us a room straight away that had already been cleaned from previous guests. The room was large and had 2 quite large single beds pushed together. The bathroom was quite big with 2 sinks, a big deep bath and separate shower, and the toilet was located next to the bathroom. The only flaw I had about the room was that there wasn't really anywhere I could do my hair, the only mirror was in the wardrobe and the plug socket was next to the room door, so it made it a little difficult to straighten my hair! Also the hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work. There is a large flat screen tv in the room with a couple of English channels, the beds were very comfortable and I slept really well until 7am the next morning when construction work started on the hotel! Breakfast is served from 7-10.30am and has a wide variety of food from cereals, fruits, croissants, bread, cheese, salami, a typical continental breakfast I suppose but me and my boyfriend enjoyed it. There is a bus stop directly opposite the hotel and you jump on the 170 that goes into Amsterdam central at a cost of 13€ for two people and you can use that ticket as many times as you want in that day and can travel all over, so the driver told us. The journey took about 40 mins. It is the same 170 that brings you back to the hotel, just be aware of where to catch the bus back from the centre. I have been to Amsterdam 3 times before whereas my boyfriend hadn't, so luckily I had a good idea of where to go. Also make sure you have plenty to eat if planning to go back to the hotel early as the bar only has a limited menu and there is only one restaurant next to the hotel but is quite pricey! We were almost tempted to call the Dominos Pizza which is nearby but thought that would be a bit cheeky so we waited until breakfast for food. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but just be aware that if you're wanting to enjoy the nightlife etc of Amsterdam that it is a 40-45 min journey to the centre.
