“Little gem in a wonderful city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We stayed one night in a double room at ground floor.
The guesthouse is a little gem, there is also a wonderful cafè/restaurant that could provide also dinner if required.
Staff is marvellous, they helped us to book a hotel for the next night.
Room was spacious and clean, not a wonderful bathroom but everything nice. Fre wifi and a gorgeous home made breakfast with all turkish specialities, we really enjoyed it.
Not very cheap but great.

Alacati is the best city in this part of turkish coast with a lot of very good restaurant and marvellous narrow streets where it i s nice to have a night walk.

Don't miss golden beach, wow...

“Lovely place and delicious breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

I was taken there by my Turkish friend and it was a great surprise. I loved the stonehouse and the rooms. They are a little small but the ambiance is lovely. The best feature is the delicious breakfast in the morning: tomatoes, olives, fresh bread and fresh cheese with jam to die for... If you go to Alacati that's the place to stay!

“Relax under a pomegranate tree”

We wanted to relax after 4 hectic but enjoyable days in Istanbul and found the perfect place.Sisters Ruhsar and Nuket Padir have a delightful guest house in the wonderful town of Adacati. Their four ensuite rooms are tastefully decorated in a restored 150 year old stone house near the centre of town . We stayed for 2 weeks and loved every minute. The breakfasts are to die for. Freshly squeezed orange or pomegranate juice. Tomato and cucumber salad, soft cheese with homemade mulberry preserve, pancakes or cheese pies, eggs any way you want, fresh baked bread, cheeses, more home made preserves, excellent coffee. We often spent half the morning in their cafe which is a beautifully restored grocery store in a 120 year old building. Our days were spent exploring Roman sites in Ephesus or lesser known Erythrae; relaxing on the beach in Ilica , visiting the Saturday market in Alacati or exploring local towns like Cesme. The Alacati restaurants serve local produce and fish( there is a fish auction in town every morning) but our favourite time was the early evening sipping local wine in Adacati's garden under a pomegranate tree . If you want to be pampered in an historic setting with good food go to Adacati Guesthouse

“Lovely stonehouse in Alacati...”

We've been to Adacati Guesthouse 3 times in the last 3 years. There is absolutely no other place we can stay in Alacati... The guesthouse is very clean, well decorated and cosy. The breakfast is fabolous with fresh vegetables and fruits, pastries and different kinds of cheese. Owners, Ruhsar and Nukhet, are very friendly too. Everytime we go, they advice us different fish restaurants -all was 10 out of 10-... It is very close to the center of Alacati, where there are different restaurants, bars etc. You can also go to the windsurfing beach very easily. We highly recommend this place if you are visiting Alacati.
