This is a very relaxed and friendly place in a quite street of Alacati. The breakfast afternoon tea and cakes are lovely which adds to its charm. The garden with the pool is very pretty. The staff was also very friendly and hospitable. I had a very nice 2 nights stay there with a close friend and had a good time chatting away. However any longer than that would have been a bit claustrophobic since the sea is far away from Alacati which is a small, cute but crowded village. I would recommend any one who is thinking of going there to hire a car as mini busses is a nightmare in the heat of the summer.
This hotel is converted from an original village house so it's more like a B&B more than a hotel. The bathroom was clean but very basic. I don't know if all the hotels in this village is similar. The curtains in the room were almost transparent so we woke up early with the sunlight every day and there was street noise. Although we didn't have any noise from the neighbours we might have been lucky cause I doubt the noise insulation would be too great. I wouldn't go there with my husband who is a light sleeper.
