“Tranquil Nest - A full justification for its tranquility”

I visited this resort with family and young daughter. The approach to this resort took me aback completely in the sense that it requires a great amount of vision and execution to spring up a resort with such perfection. Rooms are amazingly neat and the surrounding woods/ forests are silent to the core. A paradise for bird watchers. One of the best things i liked in the resort that it does not have a TV (finally on the day i left came to know theres one in the club!). Gym space can be used as a Yoga point. I doubt if anybody would use it given the royal treatment one gets and the wide varitey of activities. Be prepared for a daily sumptous food especially the surprise desert from the host. Before one goes to sleep, should sit in the platform in each ones room and listen to the multi decibels sound from the insects birds. Was told wild bisons often walk around but i was not lucky to see. My motto was "Do nothing"...My daughter had a great time and she refused to leave the resort. Do not forget to take your favourite book. Next time my stay will be foe 3-4 days;.

“Tranquility at its best! A bird watcher's paradise!”

i visited Tranquil Nest with friends on the 23rd January along with friends. As it was a new resort and none of us had been there before, we did not what to expect. But when you got there, what a place! The journey to Tranquil Nest may seem a bit arduous but it is well worth it! If you are truly looking for peace and quiet, far from the maddening crowds, this is the place to go! We were given a very warm welcome by our hosts Sunethra and Ravi who made sure that we were taken care of with a personal touch! You get the feeling that the whole place has a homely feel to it.

The cottages were great with lot of privacy. The dining area overlooking the coffee estate and the forest is the piece de resistance. All the time, you can hear the sounds of birds of the forest! We had dinner over bonfire the night we arrived. The food was fantastic throughout our stay....felt like home cooked food with exotic recipes from fruits and vegetable grown in the their own planatation estate organically.

The rooms were very comfortable! I must say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in when it comes to the hot power shower! Truly invigorating!

If you are an avid bird watcher, this place is for you! Included in the package are bird watching and trekking trips! The naturalist Joe and his team were excellent ! My friends got to see about 40 species of birds including the red headed woodpecker! Or if you are not a keen bird watcher ( like me!!) , you can just unwind and relax at Tranquil nest with your feet up taking in the fresh unpolluted mountain air and soaking up the sun at 22 degrees and catch up on the books that you have been waiting to read !

This resort is better suited for adults! My experience in tranquil nest as truly tranquil which lived up to its name! Will definitely be back!
